Donate & Sponsor

Donations are always gratefully accepted. As a registered charity, we rely on donations, sponsorships, and tours to keep our sanctuary going. It takes a lot to run a sanctuary!

All of the money we receive goes directly toward the care of our residents. Feed, bedding, vet bills, farrier bills, and repairs are our biggest regular expenses. Your generous donations allow us to continue doing what we are doing and to rescue more animals.

Sponsor an Animal

Sponsoring one of our residents is a meaningful way to have a direct and ongoing impact on their life.

Your monthly sponsorship helps cover:

  • Food and daily care

  • Warm bedding through the winter

  • Hoof care and grooming

  • Veterinary expenses

Your support ensures we can care for that animal for the rest of their life — and help them live it to the fullest.

Our Fundraisers

  • Our goal: $15,000

Our current vet bill is higher than normal and we need to pay it by the end of the year! Donating to this fundraiser helps us ensure continued medical care for all of our residents.

  • Our Goal: $20,000

When the grass stops growing, we feed our grazers hay. The Peterborough area experienced a drought this summer, so we had to start feeding hay much earlier than normal. As a result, we are over budget on hay this year.

  • Our Goal: $5,000

    Winter is here!

We took in a number of animals and moved others around. Some areas need more insulation and protection from the cold wind.
