Are you looking for a place to volunteer? What about a community to become a part of? Do you want to spend time in a beautiful, serene setting helping animals live their best lives?​

There are lots of volunteer opportunities and they don't all involve getting your boots dirty! ​​If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the form and join us!

On The Farm

Animal Caretakers

Work closely with our animals and get to know them! Sign up for a morning or afternoon shift. Times are negotiable. Minimum 3 month commitment required

Morning shift: 8:00 - 11:00

  • feed breakfast and fill water buckets

  • daily turnout

  • cleaning and stall mucking

  • socializing with animals

Afternoon shift: 3:00 - 6:00

  • socializing with animals

  • mucking stalls and cleaning

  • getting animals in the barn

  • feeding dinner

Build & Repair

Not really an animal person? That's okay, we need help with other stuff around the farm, especially fixing things that the animals break!

Experience Required: Yes, or a willingness to learn

Animal Interaction: Interaction with the animals may happen but is not required for this volunteer opportunity

Example of Duties:

  • Machinery maintenance,

  • Construction and repair of shelters,

  • Fence construction and repair,

  • Odd jobs around the farm

  • Fixing things that are broken by a goat (it’s a full-time job, really)

Virtual Volunteers

Live too far away or don't have transportation? No problem. There are plenty of ways to help from wherever you are. Behind-the-scenes tasks are just as vital as on-farm care.

Social Media & Website 

Are you tech savvy? Do you enjoy creating posts for social media?

Experience required: comfortable planning and creating social media posts

Animal Interactions: Not unless you want to come to the farm to take pictures or videos (if not we can share them with you)

Examples of duties: collaborate with a social media plan, post content, maintain website

Fundraising

For those who enjoy talking to people

Experience Required: considered an asset, but not necessary

Animal Interaction: Not unless you come to the farm to visit and get to know the animals you’d be helping to support

Examples of Duties: creating fundraising campaigns throughout the year, contacting local businesses about donating or sponsoring
